The details on the identity of the suspected killer who short a form four candidate in Kisumu are coming up.

According to Kisumu police commander Titus Yomba, police have identified the suspected killer.

Yomba has confirmed that investigations are underway to find more facts on how the man who first appeared as a police officer got to the scene and shot the innocent schoolboy.

The police have also confirmed that the man wore dreadlocks and was in a police uniform but he is not one of them.

“We have reports that the man was dressed like a police officer and immediately escaped in a ‘probox’ after the shooting.” Said Yomba.

Police are also looking into an allegation pointing the suspect as one of the perpetrators who caused burning of motorbikes in Kondele. 

The student, Michael Okoth, a form four at Vihiga boys was shot dead during the demonstrations in Kisumu.
