The National Police Service Commission has appointed the former director at the Public Service Commission, Joseph Onyango, as its secretary and CEO.
Onyango has been serving at the PSC until his recent appointment at the helm of the NPSC.
He assumed office on Monday, June 3, 2017.
Speaking during his inauguration, Onyango expressed confidence that he will perform well in his tenure.
“I look forward working with happy staff in a conducive working environment. I am also committed to the values of NPSC and believe in teamwork and work-life balance in achieving high performance,” said Onyango.
The NPSC CEO also announced appointment of the commission’s directors.
They include; Jona Ngau (director, corporate Support Services), Patrick Odongo (director, Communication and Outreach) and Christine Chepkurui (director, Human Capital Management).
