National Police Service (NPS) has offered a reward of Sh500,000 for any leads that will rceover seven rifles reportedly stolen from Booker Police Station in Mumias last week.
According to the Nation, police have asked the public to relay information to any police station and assured them of confidentiality.
"The information will be handled with confidence and informers secured. The information may be given to any Police Station, Directorate of Criminal Investigation office or officers and through our Free Toll lines 999,112,911," said the police statement as reported by Nation.
According to police, the guns were stolen after gangsters broke into the Police Patrol Base on November 23 and injured an officer in duty that evening.
