The son of a Nairobi businessman was on Sunday morning killed in what police sources described as shootout.
Reports indicate an operation at Bomboil mattresses owner's house at Westlands turned tragic after police clashed with the deceased.
He was shot in the chest and died on way to hospital, Sunday Standard reported.
Witnesses accounts claimed the officers had armoured cars during the operation.
Gigiri OCPD Vitalis Otieno confirmed the 3:00 am incident.
It however remains unclear what operation police were in.
