Police in Nakuru are pursuing an illicit brew trader who is said to be operating in Manyani area of Nakuru Town East.
On Friday, police nabbed more than 2000 litres of illicit brew at the same estate.
Police while acting on a tip off also recovered a private car suspected to be used in transporting the outlawed drink.
Speaking to media, Nakuru Town East Deputy County Commissioner Omar Hajji said two suspects were arrested during the raid.
“Two suspects of illicit brew business were today arrested and one of the suspects is renowned illicit brews trader and has been escaping police once they lay trap,” said the DCC.
He said that the brew is normally sold in Bahati, Nairobi and Nyahururu.
The commissioner said the owner of the business is being sought by police and will soon be arraigned in court.
