Kisii County Commissioner Kula Hache has revealed that they have not arrested any culprit regarding an incident where two women were shot dead in Kisii’s Daraja Mbili market.
Police in Kisii early Friday recorded statements from a group of Administration officers who are said to have committed the crime on Thursday evening.
During the confrontation, many were wounded as premises were broken into, as protestors engaged law enforcers.
Hache however noted that they have stepped up investigations, and look to bring to book those involved.
She revealed that they had already seized guns from the officers which will be subjected to ballistic tests before the officers are taken to court.
“All that we want is water tight evidence before anyone is arrested…all we want is justice for the families of the two women killed,” said Ms Hache.
