He however failed to reveal amounts of money in his wife’s bank account and one of his account said to be dormant.

He however denied allegations that his transfers are prompted by radicalisation.

Narok OCPD  Paul Kipchumba Leting when given an opportunity to speak his mind said that it was important for the commission to push for  improvement of police welfare including remuneration and most importantly regular training to match with demands.

Kipchumba also said that it was important to ensure that more officers are hired to replace those who exit the service through retirement, death and resignation.

He gave an example of the recent chaos witnessed in Narok where he said they were forced to seek reinforcement from as far as Nakuru and Kisii.

He noted that the situation would have been worse if the two divisions encountered a similar problem at the same time.
