Police have warned those trespassing on Isiolo International Airport that they risk arrest.
Isiolo county police commander Charles Ontita said unscreened individuals are sneaking into the facility while following politicians's convoys hence posing a security threat.
"We have had incidents where locals follow politicians deep into secure areas of the facility without being screened by the security officers hence posing a security threat in the region," he said.
Ontita said politicians should not allow supporters to follow them to the Airport since some of them may pretend to be following them only to take advantage and cause crimes.
"Politicians using Isiolo Airport are advised not to allow supporters to enter into the facility since they will be barred from accessing the facility for security reasons," he noted.
He added that security officers will be on high alert especially during this time of presidential campaigns.
