Nairobi police boss Japeth Koome has sent a warning to anyone planning to cause chaos on Monday as the nation awaits the Supreme court verdict on the presidential petition.
Koome stated that they are working round the clock to ensure that adequate security is provided during and after the ruling.
"We are not saying there will be any trouble after the ruling, but we have to take caution and plan just the way we did during and after the elections," said Koome.
"We are going to secure businesses because it is the mandate of the government to secure people and property. Whoever may want to take advantage of the situation will be dealt with in accordance with the law," said Koome.
