A policeman is nursing serious injuries after being shot by a gang.

The policeman was shot in the stomach after a matatu carjacking incident on Juja Road, Nairobi on Wednesday.

The officer was headed to work when the gang attacked the matatu he had boarded.

The incident which took place at 6 in the morning saw passengers lose their valuables.

The four who partook in the robbery are currently being looked for by the police.
