Three analysts on Thursday hit back at Interior CS Fred Matiang'i following his attack on the Judiciary. Matiang'i had claimed that there were a clique of 'evil' judges who had been captured by the opposition to humiliate the government.
The comments from the Interior of CS attracted condemnation from various leaders across the country.
A political analyst, Prof. Kisiang'ani, expressed his shock on how parliament could listen to and allow Matiang'i treat them with such disrespect.
"I was shocked by the way parliament behaved, they had the patience to listen to Matiang'i; he didn't treat them with respect. Entertaining Matiang'i with such kind of information was an abuse to the Kenyan voter," said Prof. Kisiang'ani.
Speaking during a Citizen Tv show, he also criticised the decision by Matiang'i to fail to obey court orders to appear before the courts when summoned.
"People in high offices in this country commit serious offences and walk away without punishment," he wondered.
Another analyst, Hamman Manyora also faulted Matiang'i for behaving as if he is bigger than others therefore can not appear before a judge when demanded by court orders to do so..
"When people get power they feel they are bigger than others. To be patriotic does not mean you become stupid," said Mr. Manyora.
