With 13 months left to the 2017 general elections, companies and individuals have come up with different ways of helping aspirants conduct their campaigns.

Unlike in previous campaigns, which were mostly analogue, the campaigns, this time, round are going digital. This has been necessitated by the increase in the number of Kenyans who are directly or indirectly using online platform.

Despite just the use of Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp, we now have other companies which are involved with digital campaigns. An example is www.assembly.co.ke which includes coverage of events and offers more features.

Other companies have also come up with different products like the one shown in the picture above.

A survey conducted by one of the companies suggested that over 70% of registered voters are now able to access these online platforms, social media.
