Political differences among Nyamira County Members of County Assembly, the Executive and the Public Service Board have deepened after members from the three arms clashed.
Members of the public, who had been invited to witness the third session, were shocked to see their leaders trading accusations against each other on the floor of the assembly.
The Assembly and the Executive have been at loggerheads with the board for the last three months over county staff hiring process which has seen the matter taken to court in a bid find the way out.
The Assembly had recommended that the Executive suspend the board members, but this was later overturned by the court.
Joash Nyamoko the Speaker of the house alleged failure to recognize the board members prompted the Minority Leader Jackson Mogusu to intervene.
When board secretary Robert Mochache was called to address the Assembly, he accused the Speaker of intentionally locking them out because of his imaginary differences with the board.
Nyamoko also accused Mochache of being petty and playing politics, a move that did not go down well with some leaders and other members of the public.
Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama, has however, urged the leaders to work together for the prosperity of the county.
