Political realignments have continued to take shape with the ruling Jubilee coalition making gains in perceived opposition strongholds.
The Youths under the umbrella Warembo Na Uhuruto and Vijana Na Jubilee in Kilifi County say they have embarked on the initiative to empower the community on their choices to vote ahead of the 2017 general Election.
The group, formed one week ago, has membership in two wards; Malindi town and Shella, and they are targeting to recruit more members in all the 35 wards.
Zamzam Ali, the Coordinator of Warembo Na Uhuruto Kilifi County said the mothers in the area are ready to do all they can to strengthen the Jubilee party's footing in the county.
The campaign organizers say they are using their own funds to implement the initiative that is meant to prove that Jubilee is action oriented party that will bring tangible development in the area.
President Kenyatta and His Deputy William Ruto are expected in the Coast region next month to woo the regions voters.
The president is also expected to receive a report on the constitution and election rule of the Jubilee party before announcing a date for the national delegates' convention to formally launch the party.
