A political showdown is expected to charge up as Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is set to lead Jubilee brigade in Kitutu Chache South on Friday to drum up support for Jubilee aspirant Anthony Kibagendi while Mombasa Governor visits the area on Saturday to drum support for ODM aspirant.
The Jubilee announcement comes barely a day after ODM aspirant Samule Omwando announced that Joho will be touring the area on Saturday to help campaign for him ahead of the by election set for November 7.
Confirming tomorrow’s Sonko visit to the region Jubilee aspirant Antony Kibagendi said that plans are almost done and they expect a large turn out from the locals to give him support ahead of the polls.
"I am confident that I will win the race and my other party officials will be coming to the area and one of the big boosts I believe will be Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko who has confirmed that he will be coming to Kisii on Friday,” said Kibagendi.
