The political tensions that defined much of 2017 for Kenyans are bound to be replicated in 2018.In his New Year message to Kenyans, opposition leader Raila Odinga reiterated the determination of NASA to push forward with the struggle for electoral reforms.''Within the first week of the New Year, we will unveil a programme of civil disobedience, peaceful protests, and non-cooperation with and resistance to an illegitimate regime in addition to people's assemblies,'' Odinga's message read.Ruto responded to the message saying that Odinga was keen on stoking political violence and that his electoral justice clamour was all about self-interest.Jubilee insists that discussions about politics will not be entertained. 2018 will sadly be politically the same unless Jubilee and NASA find away to move around their differences.
