Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi on Tuesday revealed how Jubilee MPs from Western are betraying President Uhuru Kenyatta secretly.
Through a statement by his spokesperson Kibisu Kabatesi, Mudavadi stated that MPs Benjamin Washiali (Mumias East) and Lugari's Ayub Savula are not campaigning for President Uhuru Kenyatta as perceived.
Mudavadi said that the lawmakers are already aware that they will not be voted again next year hence seeking solace in the opposition secretly.
The ANC leader said that the two legislators were secretly asking for positions in the opposition while pretending to push for the Jubilee agenda openly.
"Unfortunately for Uhuru, the likes of Washiali profess support for Jubilee during the day but swear allegiance to handsome hand-outs at while begging for accommodation in the opposition ,"said Kabatesi.
Kabatesi was issuing a statement on behalf of Mudavadi in regards to claims by Washilai that Cord leader was using MPs to have Mudavadi abandon his presidential ambitions.
