A Nyamira based politician has rubbished Deputy President William Ruto’s recently formed ‘Tanga Tanga’ movement.
Victor Swanya claimed that Ruto is interested in 'buying' politicians from Gusii region by forming unnecessary movements.
“Tanga Tanga movement will not work in Gusii region because the region remains to be a stronghold for opposition.
"Ruto is wasting resources moving around the region to persuade Gusii leaders to fall into his tricks,” he said.
The Wiper party vice chairman stated that Gusii leaders are not ready to join Ruto in misusing the country’s resources by making unnecessary trips in the name of launching and inspecting projects.
“It is only South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro who desperate boarding helicopters with DP Ruto and his allies.
"Let them continue wasting time and resources but Osoro must know he will lose his seat in 2022 because he has associated himself with Ruto who is an enemy to his constituents,” he noted.
Swanya vied unsuccessfully for the Kitutu Masaba MP seat last year.
