Kitutu Masaba politician, Victor Swanya, who is also the founder of Victor Swanya Foundation, has promised to continue sponsoring needy students as he urged other stakeholders to join hands in support of their education.
According to Swanya, using the foundation, he is keeping in touch with the society by making sure that needy students equally get education as others although he pointed out that this can be done more if other stakeholders join the race.
''There are needy students in our constituency, who either have no parents or come from poor families. My foundation has voluntarily sponsored many of them and we will continue sponsoring them to help them achieve their dreams, therefore, I am asking other stakeholders to help out,'' said Swanya.
He also urged leaders from both the national and county government to give the first priority to needy students to benefit from bursaries.
''The bursaries were meant to help these children in the society to continue with education so I urge our leaders, during the period of distributing bursaries, to let these children be beneficiaries,'' added Swanya.
The Victor Swanya Foundation has helped many students, as well as vulnerable students in Kitutu Masaba.
