Ahadi Kenya Trust Foundation CEO, Dr. Stanley Kamau has called on politicians to use some of their campaign money to alleviate hunger.

Speaking as he took part in the Chakula Mashinani food aid drive in Lamu County, Kamau called on politicians to show true leadership by meeting people’s needs.

“This is a political season, all politicians including those who won the primaries and those who lost should know that Kenyans are hungry, don’t spend all the funds on campaigns as the common mwananchi is starving. Use part of your campaign money in buying food for them,’’ said Dr. Kamau.

The initiative gave each family a week’s supply of food.
