Politicians are holding president Uhuru and Cord leader Raila Odinga captive, an ODM human rights activist has claimed.
Joseph Nderitu, who says he was introduced into ODM by Senator James Orengo in 2007, told this writer that the country would not have witnessed the current political confusion had the two men surrounded themselves with the right company.
He said some politicians around Uhuru and Odinga are misadvising them and holding the duo captive for selfish political gains.
“Yesterday I saw Duale sitting together with Midiwo, Nkaissery laughing together with my party leader Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Ruto walking together in State House. How comes they decided to hold talks the last Minute to solve IEBC issues? Some people are holding them captive. They don’t want the two to have dialogue because they have personal interests,” he said.
His remarks come when Kenyans are curious to know what transpired during Tuesday’s State House luncheon.
