Politicians including MPs on Thursday met in Nairobi to raise funds in support of the family of the late Baringo South Jubilee MP Grace Kipchoim.
Kipchoim passed on last week in Nairobi following a long battle with illness.
The fundraiser was held in Tin Tin Restaurant in Nairobi, where a tune of Sh12.4 million was raised by the politicians.
The late legislator left behind two sons and two daughters.
A funeral service for the late legislator was held Thursday morning in Nairobi town.
Reverend Zachary Chirchirof AIC and Bishop Chemon of Full Gospel Church presided over the mass which was graced by a majority of the country leadership and Baringo residents in Nairobi.
The MP will be laid to rest on Saturday, May 5, at her home in Kimoriot home Baringo County.
