The Nairobian story on the long-hidden romantic affair between National Assembly majority leader, Aden Duale, and former presidential candidate Nazlin Umar gave us a salacious window into an extramarital affair that made tabloids go berserk.

But Aden Duale is just a statistic in a list of politicians who have had the misfortune of having their extramarital involvements blown to the surface.

The following are other Kenyan politicians who were hung out to dry by nosey tabloids over their adulterous conduct;

William Ruto: In the build-up to the August 8 elections, we came to know that the outspoken politician, Kenya’s second in command, had an affair outside marriage with a college girl when he was an MP, a fact that he had strived to keep from the public.

Senator Wamatangi: A story published in the Nairobian shared with the public the sensual details of an affair that the Kiambu senator had with a former house help.

Winfred Wangui accused Senator Wamatangi of abandoning the child he had with her.

Kipchumba Murkomen: The Nairobian dived headlong into the budding romance between the senator from Elgeyo Marakwet and former KBC journalist Naisuula Lesuuda.

We learned that the married Elgeyo Marakwet senator was deep in love with well-endowed Naisuula Lesuuda, wishing that he had met her earlier.
