Uhuru urged Kenyans to now concentrate on working so as to build the country.The Head of State further urged politicians across the political divide to put aside their differences so as to work together in order to better the lives of Kenyans. Uhuru spoke in Kirinyaga county on Thursday as he launched construction of the Sh19 billion Thiba dam.“The season for politicking is over. It is now time to roll up our sleeves and start to work,” the President said.He was in the company of Deputy President William Ruto, Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru, Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, Japanese Ambassador to Kenya Uesawa Toshitsugu, Kirinyaga Senator Charles Kabiru and Gichugu MP Robert Gichimu among others.
