Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has cut an image as one of the best performing governors in the country.
The governor has however, been put on the spotlight over development projects where he has been accused of building castles in the air.
Despite Mutua overseeing many development projects like roads, water, health and sanitation among others, Machakos residents have dismissed his ambitious development plans, claiming they are rarely completed.
Yet again, enthusiasm isn’t all. Doctors want to see improvement to their living conditions, patients are in pain, residents are tired of dry taps, roads are wearing out real fast and so on.
They want answers to the question: What have we actually achieved? Has it all been a lot of smoke without fire?
