The high court in Nakuru has ordered a scrutiny of Forms 35 A and 35 B in the tallying of election results in Nakuru Town West constituency.

Justice Maureen Odero on Tuesday granted parliamentary race petitioner Isoe Ochoki, permission to go through the documents.

Ochoki filed a petition challenging the August 8 victory of Samuel Arama.

The petitioner said the election process was not free, fair and credible.

He wants the court to nullify Arama's win and order for fresh election.

Arama has maintained that he won the MP seat fairly and the petition should be dismissed.

He defended his seat on a Jubilee party ticket after he decamped from ODM, the party that sponsored him to parliament in 2013.

The hearing of the case resumes on November 15.
