Top Nyanza security officials have warned against disruption of the upcoming presidential repeat polls slated for Thursday.
Led by Nyanza regional coordinator Wilson Njenga, the security chiefs warned of dire consequences to those plotting to sabotage the process.
Speaking on Wednesday, Njenga stated that culprits will be dealt with according, adding that security agencies in the region will not entertain any form of lawlessness.
"Nobody will be allowed to break the law during the election process. We will deal firmly and decisively especially with those out to infringe the democratic rights of the patriotic citizens who come out to cast their votes," he said.
"You better stay at home if you are not willing to vote rather than participating in unlawful acts," he added.
There have been wide speculations that the Thursday elections will be disrupted in areas perceived to be Opposition strongholds.
NASA leader Raila Odinga asked his supporters to boycott the process, noting that the polls have already been marred with massive electoral malpractices.
