Richard Kerima who served as the constituency manager for five years under the MP told Judge Antony Ndung'u that he differed with the Tong'i on principle and he never campaigned for him in the August 8 general elections.

Kerima, who was being examined by the lawmaker's lawyer Okong'o Omogeni, said he was sacked unfairly from the position despite his academic qualifications.

Kerima said some agents in the constituency got different results from those announced by the returning officer.

The petitioner Zaheer Jhander and James Kenani have sued IEBC, returning officer Meja Okeyo and Tong'i as the first, second and third respondents respectively.

The petitioners claimed that the election process was not free and fair.

They want the court to nullify Tong'i's August 8 win and call for a fresh poll.
