Voting in Nambale Constituency, Busia County was forced to stop earlier than expected after chaos erupted, disrupting the low turn voter turn out.
In a number of polling stations across the constituency, police had to call for backup after a gang of rowdy youth who wanted to disrupt the voting process overpowered them.
After police were added, the irate youth retrieved but left writings all over, warning people to vote at their own risk.
Presiding officers, who refused to talk to journalists said they had no authority to do so.
In other parts of the County, low turn out was experienced as people stayed away from polling centers.
