All roads led to Joseph Kang'ethe Primary School on Thursday as residents, parents, teachers, and pupils waited for the super guest.
At exactly 10 am, the guest arrived accompanied by area MP Ken Okoth and Clerk of the National Assembly, Justin Muturi.
Pupils sang and danced with the guest Mr Remi Marechaux joining them. He joined the young Nubian dance shaking a leg that left the audience wanting some more.
However, Ambassador Remi said he is proudly Kiberian as he has lived in Kibera for a long time. He described Kibera residents as welcoming and creative.
Remi further called on the community to embrace cleanliness. He also called on slum children to work hard in school so as to secure scholarships in France.
Remi insisted on the importance of the young scholars to have french language taught in schools as it was a good language that could help them secure employment in future.
He said,''I am from France but I speak Kiswahili better than some of you, you should also take the challenge and learn french.''
