Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose stated that he will do everything possible to improve the state of toilets in all the schools in the constituency.

“I don’t wish to see pupils contradicting diseases associated to poor state of toilets. I will allocate CDF funds to ensure all schools in my constituency have good toilets for learners and teachers to use,” he said.

He called on health officers in the region to inspect all schools’ toilets and advice on which schools where new toilets will be constructed in time instead of closing schools.

He distanced himself from the closure of Nyatieko primary school.

“I hear people blaming me that I have failed the constituents due to the closure of Nyatieko primary school because it lacked toilets.

"I wish to clarify that I should not be blamed because the former MP Timothy Bosire failed to construct the toilets when he was in office,” he said.

He challenged teachers to ensure children don’t use toilets which are in a bad state.
