A popular activist has landed in trouble after attacking opposition leader Raila Odinga following his Friday meeting with GEMA Nairobi business community.

Boniface Mwangi, in a tweet, dismissed the meeting saying the former Prime Minister had become 'irrelevant' after reconciling with President Uhuru Kenyatta through the famous handshake, which Mwangi referred to as 'handcheque'.

"Raila keeping himself busy because he has nothing useful to do with his time. The handcheque made him irrelevant!" he posted.

The remarks, however, did not augur well with a section of Baba (Raila) supporters as evident in the following responses.

Constatine Mamboleo said: "Very easy for a person who has no party to say so... Murkomen and co. are feeling the heat."

Erick Onyango said: "Take your activisim hobby to another level, what has Raila done wrong by meeting GEMA?"

Jim Okore posted: "Actually he has rendered all pseudo-activists irrelevant!'

Robert Onderi said: "But you still have time to talk about him."

"Your happiness is when the country is burning, useless activist," posted Charles Ndung'u.

"Let Baba be Baba and praise him for not taking us to war," remarked Dresco.

Eric O. Oloo posted: "He's not the President, Governor, Senator, MP or MCA. Why are you interested in someone who's living his life? Or you expect him to call for mass action then brand him lord of violence?"

Wind B urged: "Boniface, take the vacant position and leave Baba to enjoy his life for once. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain."

"You know nothing and you has nothing to tell people. You keep typing on Twitter because you have nothing to do too," stated Arthur Judah.
