Kiplangat died Monday night after being involved in a grisly accident.The accident occurred at Kikopey, Giglgil.

He was among four people who were killed on the spot after a trailer rammed into their matatu.

“It’s true we have lost Kiplagat. They had come to Nairobi to get their visas as they were heading back to Eldoret, the accident occurred at Kikopey area,” Julius Ndegwa Organising Secretary of the Professional Athletes Association of Kenya (PAAK) said.
