Veteran Kikuyu musician John Mwangi Ng'ang'a popularly known as John DeMathew and his entire family are mourning the passing on of their loved one.This is after his mother, Lucy Wanjiku Ng'ang'a, passed on Saturday after a long illness.She was a resident of Mukurwe village, Gatanga Constituency in Murang'a County.A host of politicians, musicians, TV and radio presenters have sent their condolences to DeMathew's family."She was a mother to us all. Very loving, kind and caring. May she rest in eternal peace," mourned Kamau Kang'ethe of Inooro FM's Ngogoyo show.Thousands of the artist's fans also took to social media to grieve with the family.DeMathew is popular for his hit songs 'Nengereria Kane', 'Wituite Hiti', 'Pin Number’ among many more.
