Coast-based talented female artist Nyota Ndogo was this week injured after she fell on the Standard Gauge Railway line (SGR) escalator at the Nairobi terminus.
The musician on Saturday through her Instagram stated that she fell on the escalator and injured her arm but said the injury does not pose any threat to her music career.
She posted a photo of her in a hospital bed with her white lover seated on the edge of the bed.
"After falling down at the SGR Nairobi with my bags people have laughed at me and I just feel like crying," Nyota Ndogo who is well known for her songs including Chereka, Watu Na Viatu, Hao, Natoka Mbali, among other hits said.
"Imagine my fans laughed at me while wishing me quick recovery. Those elevators have really embarrassed me. I don't even know why I stood there with my two bags."
She fell after arriving in Nairobi with her lover and the two reportedly left for a holiday in Europe after the singer underwent treatment at a top Nairobi hospital.
The artist is industrious as she recently built rental houses in Voi town in Taita Taveta County. She said she would stage a show after returning to the country from holiday in Europe.
