Midfielder Peter Ng’ang’a has left National Super League (NSL) side Nakuru All Stars and joined Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Posta Rangers.
According to a post on the club’s face book page (Posta Rangers FC), the player joins the mailmen on a three year contract deal.
“Another rookie in our midst; Peter Ng'ang'a officially joins us on a three year deal from Nakuru All Stars. The youngster is an effective number 8 and 10,” the club posted.
Ng’ang’a’ joined the Sammy Omollo Pamzo coached side shortly after the team boosted its squad with the signing of three new players.
The three are: Calvin Odongo, Suleiman Ngotho and Marcellus Ingotsi. They joined Posta Rangers from KPL rivals Kariobangi Sharks, Thika United and AFC Leopards respectively.
“OFFICIAL: We've acquired the services of Calvin Odongo, Suleiman Ngotho and Marcellus Ingotsi from Kariobangi Sharks, Thika United and AFC Leopards respectively. The trio have signed three year deals. What a way to start 2018,” announced the club on Wednesday afternoon.
Calvin Odongo rejoined Posta Rangers after leaving the team to join Sharks in January 2017. He was integral in helping Kariobangi Sharks finish third in the 2017 KPL season.
Suleiman Ngotho famously known as Sule is defender and donned jersey number 16 at Thika United, while Marcellus Ingotsi is a striker who previously played for Transfoc FC and AFC Leopards Junior Team.
Posta Rangers finished 4th in the Kenya Premier League 2017 season with 51 points, behind champions Gor Mahia, Sofapaka and Kariobangi Sharks in that order.
