Posta Rangers moved to the top of the Kenyan premier league standings after beating ten man Kariobangi Sharks 1-0 in hotly contested match played at the Afraha Stadium, Nakuru.
Rangers made just one change from the team that registered a 1-0 win over Mathare United on Easter Monday, Gerson Likono starting ahead of Edwin Mwaura who was overlooked in the fixture.
On the other hand Sharks had Oyemba in goal, Ogweno and Geoffrey Shiveka at the back while Ovella Ochieng’, Francis Manoa and Masoud Juma led the attack.
Midfielder Joseph Mbugi scored the lone goal for Posta Rangers after Pascal Ogweno handled in the box.
In other matches, Gor Mahia were held to a barren draw by Tusker FC, Muhoroni youth saw off Sony sugar 2-0, Nakumatt trounced Western Stima by the same margin, Nzoia Sugar played to a 1-1 draw against Zoo Kericho while Sofapaka were held to a barren draw Kakamega Homeboyz
