A stoppage-time goal from super sub-Geoffrey Kataka was all Posta Rangers needed to see off a hapless Zoo Kericho in a match played at the Ruaraka Stadium on Monday.

The win ensured a perfect run for the mailmen who had prior to the match had registered back to back wins against Gotv Shield champions AFC Leopards and bottom-placed Muhoroni Youth.

After a barren first half draw, Rangers stand-in coach George Maina brought in Kataka for a tired John Nairuka on the 80th minute to try and salvage a win.

A defensive lapse from Zoo defenders around their goal area in the dying minutes of the game proved costly as Kataka stole the ball and fired a low shot past Zoo goalie Vincent Misikhu.

The win saw the Mailmen leapfrog Ulinzi Stars to 5th on the log with 46 points.
