Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor, who conducted a postmaster on the body of Rebecca Gobi Mwachongo has revealed that the deceased did not have physical injuries.
Dr Oduor says that from samples taken from the 27 year old indicate that she died of blood clot in her heart and fluid was discovered in her lungs.
“She also had a blood clot in the left atrium (in the heart) ... but we cannot attribute this to anything at the moment,” said Dr Oduor.
Ogola had earlier insisted in an interview with NTV that he was just playing with his wife when she fell in their bed and collapsed.
“I thought this was a joke because we had been playing. I left the bedroom and rushed to deliver the letter and then I called the house help to ask her whether Becky was up taking care of the baby and she said ‘No’, so I rushed back and found her still down where she had fallen,” Dr Ogola said.Dr Ogola is currently being held at Kabete police station after the Kibera law courts granted the police 10 days to complete investigations.
