[Photo/Nation]President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee party now wants the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to postpone an earlier planned meeting between the IEBC, NASA and Jubilee. The electoral body had invited the two political camps for the meeting on Wednesday to discuss the raised concerns ahead of the October 17 fresh presidential poll. However, through a letter from Jubilee's secretary general Raphael Tuju, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has been asked to push the meeting to a later date so as to allow the party to digest the court's full ruling on presidential nullification that is expected to be issued on Wednesday at 10a.m."We will need to go through the ruling so that our contribution can be more constructive as the issues that emerge from it might have a bearing on the agenda of the meeting," Tuju said, Tuesday.Out of the six-judge supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice David Maraga, four supported the nullification of Uhuru's re-election while two dissented.
