Power blackout in Ekalakala in Masinga sub-county has paralysed business activities for the last one week.
The cause of the blackout has not yet been established and residents have called up on the ministry to deal with the same government as it has made business people to incur great losses.
Speaking to some of the residents especially those who use electricity to run their business throughout, they said that its unfortunate and they have seriously suffered since power breakout began.
"This situation has diverted my customers to other towns which is a great loss to me. I feed my family through this business and it has really suffered since this problem came about," said Paul wambua father of two.
"This has come as a big blow to my business and I, therefore, call up on the county government or ministry which deals with the same to fix the problem as soon as possible," said Faith kanini.
