Elijah Keen Naini, a popular politician who reportedly sponsored some leaders in Kajiado county, on Friday stated that he would work with the ruling Jubilee government.
Mr Naini is the son of former Cabinet Minister and powerful politician during Moi era politician, the late John Keen .
Naini was a strong supporter of former governor of Kajiado David Nkedianye but now joins the list of former bigwigs in the Orange Democratic Movement who have defected to Jubilee.
"Yes, it is true I have crossed over to my Ilaitayuk clan brother. It is no longer rumours. We have swept our differences under the carpet," he said.
Naini assured the locals that he is drumming up support for President Uhuru Kenyatta .
