Leaders have been urged to practice Christian values in their leadership and avoid malpractices such as stealing from the electorate.
This was the message by Bishop Muheria to leaders Sunday at the leaders Mass held at Machakos cathedral for elected leaders.
Some of the leaders present included Makueni governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana, His deputy madam Adelina Mwau, Machakos deputy governor Bernard Kiala, Mwala MP Engineer Vincent Musyoka, Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka, Kalembe Ndile, Aspiring Machakos women representative Rita Ndunge among other leaders.
The Bishop also urged the leaders to be united, respect each other and serve the people well. The leaders appreciated the move by the Bishop to bring them together despite party and political affiliations.
