Wiper leader and former vice president Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has urged residents of Kisii to pray for Coalition for Reforms and Democracy leader Raila Amolo Odinga and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula to support him unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the next general elections.
Speaking during his tour in Kisii over the weekend, Kalonzo called upon the residents of this region to put his fellow co-principals in prayer to back him.
"I am urging you people to pray for my colleagues, Raila and Wetangula to declare that I am the best person to send Uhuru and Ruto home," Kalonzo said.
He also urged residents not to be swayed by money to vote for leaders who will not develop the country.
"They are coming here weekly with dirty money to bribe you; but do not accept to be swayed," he said. The outspoken politician also warned the people of Kisii against being lured by the appointment of Chief Justice Maraga David arguing that he was competent and UhuRuto did not play any role in his appointment.
"Let them not come here and say we have given you David Maraga as Chief Justice. Maraga who was my classmate and comes from this constituency was competent and passed the interview. Jubilee can not claim credit for that," Kalonzo said.
