Property Reality Company (PRC), has launched a Sh175 million housing project just 600 meters off the Nairobi–Nakuru highway. Dubbed “Lakeview Heights,” the project is planned on a quarter acre piece of land located in a coveted location in Naka Estate, Nakuru county and will provide 40 apartments.
A two-bedroom unit on a 64 Square Metre will cost Sh4 million while a three-bedroom unit on a 75 square meter will go for Sh5 million. “This is our first housing project that is an affordable development within your reach at a competitive price and with a good return on your investment. However, the price will vary depending on different issues,” said Steve Kagame, PRC head of housing during the open day.
The project, which is expected to be complete by 2019 will be undertaken by Swastik Construction Limited; a privately-owned construction company based in Nairobi and will have a fascinating view of the nearby lake and park encompassing the thrill of a modern lifestyle coupled with the tranquillity of nature.
“The project, will have 40 apartments of which 30 will be two-bedrooms and 10 three bedrooms on five floors with each floor having eight units,” added Steve.
Speaking during the same event PRC Chief Operations Officer, Consolata Mburu said that the company decided to venture into housing after realizing that there was a gap for affordable and modern houses which is yet to be tapped, especially in counties.
With the current upgrade of infrastructure such as making Nairobi- Nakuru super-highway and the introduction of Standard Gauge Railway has made Nakuru the fastest growing town in Kenya thus attracting different investors in the county.
