23 people, three among them with serious gunshot wounds are admitted at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital in Kisumu following clashes between protesters and anti-riot police on Wednesday.One has a bullet lodged in his chest, while the other two sustained gunshot wounds in the groin and elbow, according to the hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Juliana Otieno.
Among the 23 is a three-month pregnant woman, who sustained fractured limbs after police unleashed their wrath on her.Things worsened after protestors hurled stones at anti-riot police at Kondele area.The demos have been happening on Mondays and Fridays in the opposition strongholds.

We are not here to joke. If there are no reforms, there will be no elections,” said Orengo.
