Preparations for the Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) 2018 are almost complete.
According to the ASK Eldoret Branch chairman Ratcliff Nangalama, preparations are 95 percent complete."We have invited 250 exhibitors and so far 115 have confirmed attendance and we expect the remaining to confirm by the end of the week. We also have 15 exhibitors from Tanzania and Uganda," said Nangalama while addressing the press at the Eldoret showground, Tuesday."I am optimistic that the show will be successful. We want to make this year's show bigger than before," he added.Nangalama noted that this year's show has a lot of research institutions in Agriculture and Technology."I urge farmers from the North Rift region to come out in large numbers and have a case study on the new Agriculture technology that will help improve their yields," he said.The theme for this year's Eldoret ASK show is 'promoting innovation in Agriculture and trade.Exhibitors and participants have also been assured that there will be enough water.The Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show is expected to run from 7th March to 10th March 2018.To be the first to get updates on breaking and trending news in Kenya, send your Whatsapp number to 0740949990.
