Waititu said Kabogo is using courts to block his bid for Kiambu gubernatorial seat.

“Let him use courts but I will use the Kiambu people to get the governor seat come 2017,” he said during an Interview on K24 on Thursday morning.

Waititu said he will not get afraid of the courts adding that Kiambu people will speak come 2017.

The Kabete MP indicated that if elections were to be held today he would win the Kiambu governor seat by 90 per cent.

“Kabogo should prepare for a fierce race and if he thinks I will be blocked out he is in for a rude shock,” added the lawmaker.

Waititu further defended his academic certificates saying that they are genuine.

The MP said that he will line up over 50 classmates who he was with at Punjab University.

There has been controversy over Waititu’s academic qualifications that saw Kabogo file case in court seeking to block Waititu from holding a public office since he allegedly have no university qualifications.

Waititu has however defended himself saying that he studied at Punjab University in India and he is currently studying a Masters Degree at Methodist University.

On Wednesday the Public Service Commission (PSC) denied claims that Waititu had worked with it.

The Commission said it does not have any records showing that Waititu was an employee.

The duel between Waititu and Kabogo continues as the 2017 general elections approach.

Waititu has shown interest in Kiambu governor seat which the current governor says he will defend come 2017.
