Senior Counsel Ahmed Nasir during the Citizen TV JKL show on Wednesday. He says that Nasa coalition will have a toiling task at the Supreme Court to prove its presidential rigging claims. [Photo: Citizen Digital]NASA's last minute decision to challenge the disputed presidential poll at the Supreme Court will not be a walk in the park for the coalition.Senior Counsel Ahmed Nasir has said that the Nasa brigade has a tough task ahead of it to prove that the presidential election was compromised and rigged in President Uhuru Kenyatta's favour."The problem with this option is that Supreme Court is not the place to narrate folk tales and 'vitendawilis'. To succeed, you have to bring a waterproof case," said Nasir on Wednesday during JKL TV show.He added: "Just like in 2013, Nasa will be disappointed again if they expect the Supreme Court to give them what they wish or hope for. The judges will listen and determine the case on merit and I think it will be a very difficult case for them."Nasir, also castigated Nasa flag bearer Raila Odinga for making a 'very patronizing statement that for the Supreme Court to redeem itself must rule in his favour'. "Courts don't do that, your evidence is your only saviour. But you know that is the same philosophy that informed Raila's campaign throughout the electioneering period. That if he lost, it will only be because he will have been rigged. That is the same philosophy he is bringing to the court. Unfortunately for him, in courts we deal with law not political circuses," added Nasir.
