Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has called on Jubilee leaders to respect the Supreme Court ruling and prepare for another round of intense campaigns ahead of another election.
Kenyans will return to the ballot to in less than 60 days to elect their president following the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election by the Supreme Court.“The truth is that this election was stolen. This election was not conducted in accordance with the Constitution. I wish to thank the Supreme Court of Kenya for restoring our faith in Kenya. I want to thank the judges for restoring Africa's faith in institutions,” Joho said at a NASA rally held in Mathare in Nairobi on Sunday.“Let the truth of Africa ring from the hills of Taita to the Valleys of Baringo. May God bless this country for standing for the truth. We are preparing a super team that will organize campaigns and we will roll-out when we are ready.”The Mathare rally was held a day after the Supreme Court ruled that the August 8 presidential election was grossly mismanaged and was not conducted in accordance with electoral laws.
